How to Print Screen

I tried to Google on how to Print Screen and found quite a number posting on it. However, I end up feeling more frustrated and confused… Until finally I figured it out… First, hold the button ‘fn’ on your laptop and click ‘insert/prt sc’ once. Then go to the Start button, All Programs, Accessories then click on Paint. Then click Edit & Paste.
However, you may not wish to save the whole image that appeared. I’m not very well versed with Paint but this is how I do it. Click on the rectangular shape on the left side. Then select the portion that you wish to save, click Edit and Cut. Then click File, New. A message whether you want to save the present image will appear. I do not wish to save that, so I click No. Then click Paste and Save As, whatever name you choose.
Hope this helps and you are welcome to comment if you know a better way of doing this…

I to thank you for this epic site .I by all odds enjoyed every little bit of it. I have you bookmarked your web site to see at the modern stuff you place.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the bookmark. Have a great day!
I use Firefox add-ons for screen shot named “Fireshot” so that I can take a screen shot for the entire page as well as the part that shows on my browser window.
Windows OS on mac has different shortcut for print screen though as well as OS X. I don’t know about Linux since I haven’t tried it. Have you tried it, Ruzie?
Oh, yes… Forgot to mention that this is for Windows XP laptop. I haven’t tried any other, Lusy. And I’m using Chrome browser. Will see if Chrome has that Fireshot add-on too & will give it a try. Thank you so much, Lusy!
Have tried using the ‘Fireshot’ & yesss, it is very easy to use. However, it’s only on Firefox browser & presently not available for Chrome.
